The 42-year-old actress opened up about her new relationship on The Today Show and Live! with Kelly & Ryan on Thursday morning (April 19) in New York City.
“He’s an amazing human and he just makes me so happy and I’m in love. It’s the first boyfriend I’ve had since I got divorced. When you know, you know. 42-years-old, and I know now. I’ve done a lot of soul-searching, trust me,” Paula said on Live! “He looks like a tough guy, because he is. He protects me.”
On The Today Show, she said she’s radiating light because, “I’m in love. This is my first boyfriend since I’ve been divorced and I love him and I’m happy. He makes me calmer.

Paula Patton and her new boyfriend Zachary Quittman made their debut as a couple while holding hands in New York City on Wednesday (April 18).
Soon, reports began emerging that Zach was actually still married to his wife while simultaneously dating Paula.
Now, Zach has released a statement clarifying, “We were totally separated before I moved on,” he told People. “Obviously there’s three sides to every story and I’m not pointing the finger or saying anyone’s wrong, but we were definitely separated before I moved on.”

Paula Patton is all smiles as she debuts her new blonde hair at a special screening of her latest film Traffik held at the Regal Atlantic Station on Monday (April 16) in Atlanta, Ga.
The 42-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Laz Alonso and Roselyn Sanchez, the film’s writer-director Deon Taylor, as well as Roxanne Avent and Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, who came out to show their support.
While promoting the flick, Paula revealed that she has a totally random Hollywood connection with Prince Harry‘s fiancee Meghan Markle.
“I met her because she helped me with my wedding invitations,” Paula revealed (via ET), referring to the invitations made for her 2005 wedding to ex-husband Robine Thicke.
“She had this beautiful writing,” Paula recalled. “That moment I feel like I said something to her. Like, ‘You are meant to be royal’… She was just so graceful and lovely, and actually really kind.”

The 42-year-old actress revealed the happy news while promoting her new movie Traffik in an interview with Extra.
“I have a boyfriend now,” she said. “I haven’t called anybody a boyfriend. He’s my boyfriend!”
Paula said that she’s been dating her mystery guy for a month and that, “When you know, you know. I love him.” She found her new man in Los Angeles at a basketball game for her son Julian, who she shares with ex-husband Robin Thicke.
“If you have a kid and you have a basketball game, look at the daddies. It’s kind of a suburban romance. He’s got kids, I got a kid. It’s one of those!” she added.

Robin is currently expecting a new addition to his family with girlfriend April Love Geary.
