Jennifer Connelly along with her husband Paul Bettany and the cast of Only the Brave helped welcomed some real-life heroes to their red carpet premiere on Sunday (October 8) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress and her co-stars Miles Teller and girlfriend Keleigh Sperry, Josh Brolin and wife Kathryn Boyd, Jeff Bridges, Scott Haze, James Badge Dale, Taylor Kitsch, Geoff Stults and singer Dierks Bentley hit the carpet alongside first responders who helped those who were affected by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, as well as the earthquake in Mexico City.

They also helped and are still giving aid to those affected by the Las Vegas shooting, according to Deadline.

Only The Brave, based on the True Story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, is set to hit theaters October 20th – Watch the brand new trailer below!

Jake Gyllenhaal keeps it casual while hitting the Entertainment Weekly’s Toronto Must List Party during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival held at the Thompson Hotel on Saturday (September 6) in Toronto, Canada.

The 33-year-old actor was joined by Tina Fey, Jason Bateman, Eddie Redmayne, Steve Carell, Anthony Mackie, J.K. Simmons, and Scott Haze.

Jake recently joked about relating to his strange character in his latest film Nightcrawler.

“I’m actually that weird! Yeah, I’ve just been looking for a role for the past 18 years that really was the closest to me. People have debated it over roles that I’ve played, but I really think this is the one. This is the one that is closest to my personality. Thank you for finally asking the question I wanted anyone to ask in the audience today,” Jake shared at the movie’s premiere at the festival.

During the premiere, James was honored with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award, which is given to personalities that have made a mark on contemporary cinema.

Earlier in the day, James sported a cap while hiding his shaved head at the photo call for the film.

James Franco has taken to his Instagram account to slam a report that said he is dating his roommate and good friend Scott Haze.

“GAWKER – always getting the cutting edge, homophobic scoop!!! Go see CHILD OF GOD in theaters and see me direct my live-in boyfriend, SCOTT HAZE!!! Love you SCOTT!!!!” the 36-year-old actor captioned a screencap of the Gawker article.

In the article, the site referenced several lines from a New York Times piece about the pals in which it was revealed that they are roommates and are “so close that describing them merely as friends would be a disservice.”

James and Scott have collaborated together on several projects, including the new movie Child of God.

Lana Del Rey is a vision in white while attending the premiere of the new movie Child of God on Wednesday (July 30) at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City.

The 29-year-old singer was in attendance to support her good friend James Franco, who wrote, directed, and stars in the new movie.

James‘ co-star Scott Haze also stepped out for the premiere. He brought along his girlfriend Elissa Shay.

If you don’t remember, Lana met up with James earlier this month backstage after a performance of his Broadway play Of Mice and Men.
