- Less than a day after Helio Castroneves was crowned winner of Dancing With the Stars, the race-car driver announced that he and his fiancée, Aliette Vazquez, have called off their engagement. Helio told Access Hollywood that he’s “sure” they are going to remain friends. Meanwhile, sources say his close relationship to his dance partner, Julianne Hough, may be to blame. Last week Helio and Hough, who has signed a record deal, were spotted flirting while they shopped for matching Ritmo watches at the David Orgell store in Beverly Hills.
- Madonna is in hot water with animal activists for dying sheep for a photo spread in Vogue Living: Houses, Gardens, People. The book points out that the dye was temporary and didn’t harm the animals.
