Carey Mulligan: Alzheimer's Society Gala Dinner!

Carey Mulligan attends the ASMALLWORLD Gala Dinner for the Alzheimer’s Society on Saturday (December 15) at The Gstaad Palace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland.

The 27-year-old actress was joined at the dinner by her pal Mamie Gummer and her actor BFF Rightor Doyle.

Carey, whose grandmother is suffering from dementia, is an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society and is joining forces with them on a campaign to share your favorite Christmas memories.

“My favorite Christmas memory is every Christmas we spent with my grandmother,” Carey said. “She used to alternate between us and our cousins and every year we were lucky enough to have her was particularly precious.”

“This Christmas we want people to tell us about their favorite Christmas memory – it can be funny, sad, silly or serious,” she added. “Write a memory on a piece of paper, take a photo and tweet using #xmas2remember or comment at Facebook.com/AlzheimersSociety.”
