Kristen Wiig Was Drawn to 'Walter Mitty' Because it Was Dramatic

The 40-year-old actress promoted her movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, which hits theaters on December 25.

“I was excited about doing something that wasn’t comedic, but it wasn’t conscious,” Kristen told Vogue about choosing to do the film. “If I read something and I connect with it, that’s how I pick my projects – it just so happens what I chose were all quite dramatic, which is something I’ve been wanting to do.”
