Taylor Swift Skipped the MTV EMAs 2014 to See Her Brother Austin's College Play

Taylor Swift skipped the 2014 MTV EMAs yesterday, and fans were wondering why she wasn’t in attendance – turns out she went to see her brother Austin‘s play at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana!

Austin starred in Luigi Pirandello‘s classic play 6 Characters in Search of an Author and Taylor and her mother went to see the closing day performance of the big show. Word quickly spread that Taylor was on campus, and social media exploded with posts.

Taylor happily posed for pictures with the cast before heading out to a swarm of people snapping photos and taking videos.
