Natalie Portman Wasn't Given a Script for 'Knight of Cups'

Natalie Portman keeps it so simply chic while on the red carpet at the Shooting Stars event during the 2015 Berlinale International Film Festival held at Berlinale Palace on Monday (February 9) in Berlin, Germany.

The 33-year-old actress premiered her film Knight of Cups the day before – and chatted about how the film was unusual in that there was no set script!

“It was quite a lot of discussion, considering how little I worked on the film,” Natalie told Vulture. “We’d receive like 30 pages a day with suggested ideas for dialogue.” In total, Natalie only shot for 4 or 5 days.

“I never had any lines to learn, but I would see other people coming [to set] and they’d have pages,” her co-star Christian Bale added. “I would try to look over their shoulders to see what I was going to be being told that day, because I never knew at all.”
