Gwyneth Paltrow Skipped the Met Gala for a Good Reason!

Gwyneth Paltrow was not in attendance at this year’s 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City for a good reason – she was chilling with her daughter Apple!

“This was the red carpet in my house last night” the 42-year-old actress captioned a photo of her daughter, 10, wearing a one piece pajama outfit.

It is not super surprising that Gwyneth skipped the event – or possibly wasn’t even invited.

During her last appearance in 2013, Gwyneth told a radio station, “It sucked. It seems like it’s the best thing in the world, you always think, ‘Oh my god, it’s gonna be so glamorous and amazing and you’re going to see all these people,’ and then you get there and it’s so hot and it’s so crowded and everyone’s pushing you.” Gwyneth also said, “I’m never going again.”
