Brittany Snow Wanted to Be on 'The Mickey Mouse Club'

Brittany Snow gives a serious gaze on the cover of Vegas magazine’s 12th Anniversary “Women of Influence” issue.

Here’s what the 29-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On growing up wanting to be a Disney darling: “That was my dream. I was going to be on The Mickey Mouse Club with Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. But before I was old enough to audition, they canceled the show.”

On what is means to be a woman of influence: “I hope that by being myself and standing up for what I believe in, I can influence people to do the same and repay the women who influenced me. I would like to set the example of being yourself and not conforming to what society believes girls should be. I was always looking at other girls, thinking I just didn’t get it. I think every kid goes through a rite of passage when you think, ‘Who am I and who are my friends?’ With Love Is Louder, I get to talk to a lot of girls, learn what they struggle with, and share some stuff.”

On if she had a residency in Las Vegas: “Anna Kendrick and Kelley Jakle and I went to see Britney a year ago, and it lived up to everything I wanted it to be. My Vegas show would be the most boring show ever. No one would want to hear me sing for an hour, and I can’t do magic tricks. I guess I would tell bad jokes, make a lot of costume changes, introduce special guests, and have a lot of performing puppies to steal the show.”
