Maria Sharapova: 'It's A Privilege To Put Myself In A Situation Where I Can Face Serena Williams'

Maria Sharapova flashes a smile as she drops in at Porsche Mayfair to go for a spin in the UK’s brand new Porsche Boxster Spyder on Thursday (June 25) in London, England.

The 28-year-old tennis star then switched outfits to make her way to the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party held at the Kensington Roof Gardens.

Maria recently opened up about taking on Serena Williams once again in the semi-finals of Wimbledon.

“I find it a privilege to put myself in a situation where I can face someone like her,” Maria expressed (via ESPN). “If I’m putting myself in that position, that means that I’m doing something well, and giving myself another chance to play against her. You have to be great at many things against her. You can’t count on her mistakes. You have to count on your own ability.”
