Kate Hudson Working With Her 'Pa' Kurt Russell for the First Time

Kate Hudson exits a building in a colorful romper while on the set of Deepwater Horizon on Thursday afternoon (July 30) in New Orleans, La.

The 36-year-old actress was joined on set by Kurt Russell and Mark Wahlberg, who both appeared to be bloodied and scarred for their scene.

This is the first time that Kate is working on a movie with Kurt, who has been a father-figure to her for most of her life.

“Back to work and first time working with my Pa 🙌 🎥🚁#DeepwaterHorizon #OnLocation #SnakePlissken 😎 @elliegoulding #AnythingCouldHappen,” she posted on Instagram, with a short video flying in a helicopter with Kurt.

She later posted a cute selfie with her on-screen daughter, Stella Allen.

FYI: Kate is wearing a PilyQ romper and Ipanema flip flops.
