Brie Larson Got Through Tense 'Room' Filming Scenes with R&B Karaoke!

Brie Larson is all smiles as she makes her way out of NBC Studios after making an appearance on The Today Show on Thursday (October 22) in New York City.

“It does get so emotionally heavy, I needed a way to shake it all off so I would go do karaoke every night,” the 26-year-old actress said during her appearance about how karaoke helped relieve the stress of shooting the tense scenes for her film Room. “I love R&B so it was either ‘Burn’ by Usher or like “Shake It Off” by Mariah Carey.”

That same day, Brie switched outfits to make her way to the AOL Studios to attend her AOL BUILD Series Room panel before heading off to her 92nd Street Y Presents Brie Larson & Room Q&A session.
