Lady Gaga Performs Emotional 'Till It Happens to You' at Billboard Women in Music (Video)

Lady Gaga takes to the stage in her red suit to accept her Woman of the Year trophy at the Billboard Women in Music event, which aired on Lifetime on Friday (December 18).

The 29-year-old entertainer performed an emotional rendition of her song “Till It Happens to You,” which is featured in the movie The Hunting Ground and is eligible for an Oscar nomination this year.

“I don’t think I’ve ever dreamed of anything more than being a performer. I don’t really know why. I’m so sorry. I’m a very emotional person. I think that’s what you are as an artist. You have a lot of strength, but you’re sort of intrinsically very emotional,” Gaga said to start off her speech. “I never thought anything like this would have ever happened to me or my family.”
