The 38-year-old singer and his band Coldplay are getting ready to headline the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show, taking place on February 7, 2016.

“I think the reason we’re excited to do it because it feels so much about people, togetherness and celebration,” Chris recently expressed. “It brings such amazing disparate parts of the country and even the world together around one thing. We love interacting with people and singing with people, feeling the world connect and I think this is one of the days in the year where the world connects.”
