Who Plays Black Panther? Meet Captain America's Chadwick Boseman!
Ahead of the highly-anticipated release of Captain America: Civil War, we’re shining a light on the super talented Chadwick Boseman!
The 39-year-old actor stars as T’Challa (aka Black Panther) in the star-studded Marvel flick.
He will also star in a solo Black Panther film set for February 2018.
Born in South Carolina, Chadwick earned his Bachelor’s degree in directing back in 2000 from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
He taught drama to students in Harlem for several years before moving out to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
Chadwick had early television stints on shows like Third Watch, Law & Order, CSI:NY, ER, Lincoln Heights, and more. He really shot to fame with his big first starring role in the 2013 film 42 as legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson.
More recently, he appeared opposite Kevin Costner in Draft Day before starring as James Brown in Get on Up.
