'Captain America: Civil War' Opens to Massive $181.8 Million!

Captain America: Civil War soared at this weekend’s box office with a huge $181.8 million opening!

According to THR, the Marvel/Disney flick, starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and more, scored the fifth-best opening of all time.

Civil War sits at No. 5 behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($248 million), Jurassic World ($208.8 million), The Avengers ($207.4 million) and Age of Ultron ($191.3 million).

Coming in second place was The Jungle Book, which grossed an additional $21.9 million for a domestic total of $285 million so far.

Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, and Julia Roberts‘ new movie Mother’s Day came in at No. 3 with $9 million in its second weekend for a domestic total of $20.7 million.

Rounding out the top five were The Huntsman: Winter’s War and Keanu, which grossed $3.6 million and $3.1 million, respectively.
