Jennifer Garner's 'Heart is Breaking for West Virginia' After Major Flooding
Jennifer Garner steps out of her car to head to a business meeting on Wednesday (June 29) in Los Angeles.
The 44-year-old actress teamed up with Save the Children to help raise awareness and lend her help after some devastating floods hit her home state of West Virginia. The floods have killed 23 people.
“My heart is breaking for beautiful West Virginia. The people of my home state are the most resilient you will find, but the damage caused by the storm and deadly floods has been catastrophic for these families and communities,” Jennifer said. “I am relieved to know that Save the Children will continue to be on the ground in West Virginia throughout the cleanup and recovery, to make sure basic needs are met.”
