VIDEO: William H. Macy Thanks Trump for Making His 'Shameless' Character Seem So Normal

William H. Macy won big at the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight!

The event was held at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 29) in Los Angeles.

The 66-year-old actor, who was joined by his wife Felicity Huffman, snagged the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in the hit Showtime series Shameless.

During his acceptance speech, William gave a special thank you to President Donald Trump.

“I would like to go against the stream this evening and thank President Trump for making Frank Gallagher seem so normal,” he announced, referencing his habitually drunk Shameless character.
