Millie Bobby Brown Splits Her Kneecap, Misses MTV Movie & TV Awards 2018

Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown was not in attendance at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday night (June 16), because of an injury!

“Hi guys, so another milestone in my life; I’ve never actually broken a bone, except for now. I have split my kneecap, so I, from the doctor’s orders, he told me to rest up and that means that I won’t be attending the MTV Awards this weekend,” the 14-year-old actress said in an Instagram video, showing her leg in a brace with a crutch.

“I hope Gaten and Caleb, Finn, Sadie, and Noah have the best time and I love them so dearly. I wish you guys the best and I’m sending my luck with you, and I’ll be there in spirit.”
