Patton Oswalt Donates Money to Sick Man Who Trolled Him on Twitter
Patton Oswalt took the high road after being trolled on Twitter – he donated $2,000 to a ill man’s GoFundMe after he was trolled online.
It all started when the man tweeted at Patton, “I just realized why I was so happy you died in Blade Trinity!”
Patton responded, but then looked at his Twitter profile.
He then wrote, “Aw, man. This dude just attacked me on Twitter and I joked back but then I looked at his timeline and he’s in a LOT of trouble health-wise. I’d be pissed off too. He’s been dealt some shitty cards — let’s deal him some good ones. Click and donate — just like I’m about to.”
The man’s GoFundMe had only $600 of his $5,000 goal before Patton promoted the cause. At the time of this publication, the GoFundMe is currently over $13,000.
