CBS Renews 'NCIS' for Season 17!

NCIS is coming back for more!

The long-running hit CBS series will return for a 17th season after executive producer and star Mark Harmon signed a new deal, the network announced on Thursday (April 11).

“NCIS has been a global juggernaut for almost two decades. Its viewers are clearly the most loyal of any drama on television. They are passionate about the characters, the plotlines and the storytelling. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the gifted production team and the cast, led by the extraordinary Mark Harmon. We are delighted that the show will remain a linchpin of the CBS schedule this coming season,” said CBS exec Kelly Kahl.

The show’s 16th season, which premiered in September of 2018, is currently airing and consists of 24 episodes in total.

The show is CBS’s longest-running current drama series, as well as its most watched.
