Taylor Swift Says 'London Boy' Lyrics Didn't Actually Happen Over Just One Day

Taylor Swift is clearing up all the confusion about her song, “London Boy”, which is featured on her brand new album, Lover.

In an interview with BBC Radio, Taylor was alerted that fans thought she had visited all the sites she mentions in just one day, but that’s hardly the case.

“This is supposed to happen over the space of three years,” Taylor shared. “Somebody told me, ‘They think you’re talking about one day’, and I was like, ‘Oh no, you’d never make it. You wouldn’t make it. You’d make it in three years!’”

She also admitted that the song came together during a sleepless night.

“[I] just couldn’t sleep…I had an idea, it ended up being one I was really proud of later.”
