'Mighty Ducks' Star Shaun Weiss Will Leave Jail for Rehab Following Meth-Related Burglary (Report)

Shaun Weiss will be released from jail and move to a rehab facility.

A judge approved the motion concerning the 41-year-old actor – who starred in The Mighty Ducks and Heavyweights – on Tuesday (March 10) in Yuba County, Calif., TMZ reports.

Shaun could be released by Thursday, when he would move to a hospital in Orange County. His would start with a week of detox before spending 90 days in a rehab facility in Southern California.

Following this, Shaun would partake in an “intensive outpatient/partial aftercare sober-house program” before heading to a sober-living facility.

A TV show reportedly reached out to Shaun‘s team regarding the rehab facility, offering to sponsor his recovery.

It was reported in January that Shaun Weiss was arrested for burglary while under the influence of methamphetamine.
