Couple Gets Married in NYC Streets While Officiant Hosts Ceremony From Apartment Window
There’s no time like during a pandemic to get married and that’s what one couple did!
Wall Street Journal reporter Talal Ansari captured the moment and shared it with his followers on Twitter, and the world picked up on the good news.
“just witnessed the most incredible thing. after being read a passage from ‘love in the time of cholera’ from a marriage officiant 5 stories up, down below, these two souls were married on the streets of upper manhattan. what. a. coronavirus. moment,” Talal wrote with part of the ceremony.
Amanda Wheeler and Reilly Jennings had a crowd, who were social distancing, around them as they said their vows.
