Marilyn Manson has been dropped by his record label following accusations of abuse from his former partners.

Variety reports that Loma Vista Recordings has parted ways with the musician.

“In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately,” a statement from the label said. “Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

After Evan Rachel Wood came forward with her story, Marilyn‘s artist page on the label’s website.

Marilyn had released three albums with Loma Vista Recordings, the latest being We Are Chaos which just came out in September 2020.

Evan shared her story with the world through social media, calling Marilyn by his given name of Brian Warner.

“He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail,” she wrote. “I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Later, Evan shared other stories from his victims on her page and has since received a lot of support from her friends.
