Gossip Girl's Identity Revealed During Reboot Premiere (Major Spoilers!)

Gossip Girl Is Tavi Gevinson’s Kate Keller!

In the premiere episode, Julien (Jordan Alexander) is put front and center as the new Queen B at her elite private school. During the episode, one of the teachers, Kate Keller (Tavi Gevinson) bumps into Julien and her friends. They proceed to mock her.

This causes Kate to head to the teacher’s lounge and complain about the students and their privilege. It is there that she learns about the original Gossip Girl. A current teacher at the school previously attended Constance Billard during the original Gossip Girl days, prompting Kate and her colleagues to restart the iconic blog.

First, Kate sets up a Gossip Girl Twitter account, which fails. She then moves on to Instagram.

Kate and her co-conspirator teachers (Rana Roy, Adam Chanler-Berat and Megan Ferguson) decide to focus their efforts on It girl Julien and her half-sister Zoya, who just transferred to Constance Billard.

The teachers work together to get photos and info, with Kate, a writer, as the official Gossip Girl!
