Kanye West Drops DaBaby Remix from Streaming Services

Kanye West has removed one of his collaborations with DaBaby from streaming services.

Variety reports that the 44-year-old rapper seemingly pulled a remix of his song “Nah Nah Nah” that featured DaBaby from Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal over the weekend.

The song’s removal was first noticed by HotNewHipHop on Sunday (August 8).

The move comes after DaBaby‘s highly criticized performance at Rolling Loud Miami, where he made homophobic and misogynistic remarks as well as ignorant comments about people with HIV/AIDS, though it’s unclear if Kanye‘s decision has anything to do with the controversy.

Many celebrities proceeded to respond to his comments on social media, including Madonna, Dua Lipa and Elton John. He was also dropped from a number of music festivals amid the backlash.

DaBaby issued an apology via Twitter and followed up with a second statement on Instagram, the latter of which has been deleted.

Miley Cyrus recently offered to help educate the rapper via social media. See what she wrote
