Rachael Leigh Cook turned down the role of Rogue in the X-Men movies, and she’s explaining why.
If you don’t know, Anna Paquin eventually landed the role of Rogue in the first X-Men movie back in 2000 and continued playing the role all the way through 2014′s X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Rachael said that the reason she turned down the role of Rogue was to “avoid acting on a green screen,” she explained to the New York Times.
“As soon as I saw the posters for it, I knew that I’d made a mistake,” she added, revealing it was a “huge misstep” declining the role.
