Sarah Jessica Parker Says She's 'Not Ready' to Publicly Mourn Willie Garson

Sarah Jessica Parker is having a hard time mourning the death of longtime friend and co-star Willie Garson.

On Tuesday (September 21), the 57-year-old actor, who played Stanford Blatch on Sex & the City, tragically passed away.

While many of his SATC co-stars have taken to social media to pay tribute, Sarah has not yet posted anything.

After Chris Noth honored Willie, Sarah commented on his post, explaining why she hasn’t posted anything yet.

On Instagram, Chris, who plays Mr. Big on SATC, shared a photo of Sarah and Willie filming a scene together.

He simply captioned the photo, “Willie” with the heart and broken heart emojis.

Sarah reacted to Chris‘ post, writing in the comments, “Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet. Xxx”

Along with starring on Sex & the City together, Sarah and Willie have been close friends for decades.
