Sweden's Princess Victoria & Prince Daniel Release Rare Statement in Response to Divorce Rumors

Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel have released a rare statement in response to the rumors that they’re getting a divorce.

The couple took to their Instagram account and released a statement in their native language.

“It has come to our attention that there are widespread negative rumors about our private relationship. Allegations are being spread about betrayal in the relationship and an impending divorce,” the couple wrote in the statement, as translated into English.

They added, “Normally, we do not comment on rumors and speculation. But in order to protect our family, we wish to make it clear, once and for all, that the rumors that are now spreading are completely unfounded.”

Victoria and Daniel have been married since June 2010 and they are parents to nine-year-old daughter Princess Estelle and five-year-old son Prince Oscar.

Victoria is the heir apparent to the Swedish throne as the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf. Her younger brother has made headlines for being so hot!
