'Old' Star Aaron Pierre Joins Mahershala Ali in Marvel's 'Blade'

Aaron Pierre is joining the Marvel family.

The 27-year-old Old actor will star opposite Mahershala Ali in the upcoming Blade movie, according to The Wrap.

Aaron not only joins Mahershala, but Delroy Lindo as well in the movie, which will be directed by Bassam Tariq.

Details of his character have not been released.

News of the new incarnation of Blade were revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, and it was revealed that Mahershala pitched the entire idea to Marvel.

“We have, for years, wanted to find a new way into Blade, we love that character. We love that world. Now with Dr. Strange and the supernatural elements coming into the MCU, it felt like we could definitely start exploring that,” Kevin Feige said of the reboot.
