Michelle Young Reveals What She Really Wants To Do With The 200k From 'The Bachelorette' Following Breakup

Michelle Young is opening up a bit more about her split from Nayte Olukoya.

During a new interview on The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast, the 29-year-old teacher shared that it’s been a transition for her, and not only because of their breakup.

“It’s been quite a transition,” Michelle said. “I would say just because you know this year, I decided to step away from the classroom, this following school year, just because I’ve been so burned out. And just really wanting to get out of that survival mode. I kinda feel like life has taken this thing and like okay challenge accepted. And here deal with a break up.”

She added that her and Nayte‘s split was “definitely not something that I planned to have to work through this summer. But I definitely have the understanding that sometimes we have to work through things that we did not plan for that were not in our life plans.”

Later on in the episode, Michelle revealed what she wants to do with the $200,000 check that The Bachelorette gifted her and Nayte for a down payment on a house.
