Marvel's Kevin Feige Responds After Ryan Gosling Says He Wants to Join the MCU As Ghost Rider

Kevin Feige is ready for Ryan Gosling to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

During an interview with MTV News at 2022 Comic-Con, the Marvel exec said that he’d “love to find a place” for Ryan in the MCU after the actor said he’d love to play Ghost Rider in a future Marvel movie.

“Hey man, if Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider…” Kevin said.

He continued, “Gosling’s unbelievable. Ryan is amazing…I’d love to find a place for him in the MCU. He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice Beach and gets more press than giant movies coming out that weekend. It’s amazing.”

Ghost Rider was first adapted into a movie in 2007, with Nicolas Cage starring in the title role. The film also has a personal connection for Ryan, as it co-starred his long-time partner Eva Mendes.

It has previously been rumored that Ryan would be joining the MCU to play the superhero Nova, which he has denied. “I don’t know anything about Nova, if that’s what you’re going to ask me,” Ryan told MTV News earlier this month.

The entire lineup for Marvel’s phase five was recently announced at Comic-Con and you can see all the projects in the works here.
