Alexis Bledel & Vincent Kartheiser Split After 8 Years of Marriage

Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are going their separate ways.

The 40-year-old Gilmore Girls alum and the 43-year-old Mad Men actor are filing for divorce after eight years of marriage, Us Weekly confirmed Wednesday (August 17).

Vincent filed for divorce with the Putnam County Supreme Court in New York, according to documents obtained by the outlet.

The split comes a little more than eight years after the pair secretly tied the knot in June 2014 in Ojai, California, after meeting on the set of Mad Men.

A year after the ceremony, the two welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in 2015.

At the end of May, Alexis shocked fans after announcing that she was leaving The Handmaid’s Tale.
