Rachel and Tino did get engaged in the final episode – however, things did not last, and she revealed the reasons why while speaking to host Jesse Palmer.

“I slowly was pulling on that string and revealing more and more. It really didn’t work out, he cheated on me,” she explained. “It’s just heartbreaking. This is the person I thought I was gonna spend the rest of my life with and start a family with.”

Rachel also explained that Tino didn’t want her to tell anyone that he cheated.

“You don’t want me to have support in this time? You just want me to sit by you at After the Final Rose and act like none of this happened because you want me to protect your image,” she argued with him in the final episode.

Following an argument with Tino about his infidelity, Rachel shared that she “was confused” when she first sat down with Tino.

“I had felt as if I wasn’t told the full truth because when he told me first, he was just giving me little bits of information: ‘We were just texting, it was just this…’” Rachel said. “Apparently, it was my fault that he cheated. It’s hard to have someone sit down and tell you that. I don’t feel like anyone deserves that.”

Tino did apologize to Rachel in the special.
