Janelle Monae Rules The Red Carpet in Textured Red Dress For 'Glass Onion' Premiere in Madrid

Janelle Monae continues her red carpet domination!

The 36-year-old actor stepped out in a tiered and ruffled textured red dress at the premiere of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday (October 19) next to co-stars Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson and Edward Norton.

The quartet also hit up a photo call earlier that same day. The night before, the cast were in London for a handful of promo events.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Janelle opened up about her role in the movie.

“It’s a very, very big role,” she says of her role as Andi in the Netflix movie, adding that “there were moments where I was up until six in the morning shooting certain things. I knew what it took to get a take. When you know what it takes to do something—when you live that experience—[you’re waiting] for the release.”

Janelle also looked back on one particular scene in the movie, revealing that she did cry about it filming, and then again when watching the screening.

“I think it was me looking at all the hard work that I had done,” she says. “I was really proud of myself. I worked my ass off. We were in 105-, 110-degree temperatures outside, shooting with our own lights and the light from the sun…. I finally released. I finally had that moment.”

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be released globally on Netflix on December 23.
