Bono Addresses U2's iTunes Album Controversy in New Memoir: 'I Take Full Responsibility'

Bono is addressing U2‘s infamous iTunes incident.

Back in 2014, Apple uploaded the band’s album Songs of Innocence onto each iTunes user’s account without their consent.

In an excerpt from his new memoir Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, the 62-year-old musician offered an apology for the incident, calling it an “overreach” on his part.
