Al Roker Shares Health Update After Missing Thanksgiving Day Parade for the First Time in 27 Years
Al Roker is feeling thankful.
The 68-year-old NBC anchor shared an update after he missed co-hosting the 2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – his first time missing the event in nearly three decades.
Due to a health complication last week, Al was unable to attend the event. If you didn’t know, he was hospitalized days ago for blood clots in his legs and lungs.
And now, he’s providing an update.

“So much to be #thankful for on the #thanksgiving day. Leaving the hospital and home for #thanksgivingdinner,” he captioned a post of himself back on his feet again.
He also shared a photo of himself giving a thumbs up while watching the festivities on TV.
