Rita Ora Realized She Was All 'In' with Taika Waititi After This Key Moment

Rita Ora is opening up more about her relationship with husband Taika Waititi.

During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 32-year-old singer gushed over Taika and revealed the moment she first thought that there might be something more to their relationship.

Promoting her upcoming album and new music, Rita stopped by Drew‘s show this week, where she got candid about her and Taika‘s relationship.

“I loved the whole experience, but I kept it super private for a little bit, just kept it to myself,” Rita first said about keeping their nuptials just for them and their close friends and family. “It’s nice to share it and be sort of open about it. Feels great!”

She added that Taika is “so, so great. We’re friends, and I mean, we met long before we decided to ruin everything. We were friends for six years.”

Rita and Taika were first romantically linked in 2021 as he was directing Thor: Love and Thunder in Australia, at the same time she was a coach on The Voice Australia.

She then revealed how she knew there was something more to them, and when she went “all in”.

“I mean, honestly, he put his hand on my back and then…low back. And that’s when I knew, this is a different type of stroke, you know?” she said. “And I was in. I mean honestly, it’s a really cool dynamic and we both kind of do our own thing and I’m very happy right now.”
