Lady Gaga to Perform at Oscars 2023 in Surprise Appearance (Report)

Lady Gaga is reportedly set to make a surprise appearance at the 2023 Academy Awards after it was previously reported that should would NOT be performing at the show.

Gaga will reportedly be taking the stage to perform “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick.

Last week, Oscars executive producer and showrunner Glenn Weiss revealed that Gaga would not be performing.

“We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp. She is in the middle of shooting a movie [Joker: Folie à Deux] right now. Here, we are honoring the movie industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth… It didn’t feel like she can get a performance to the caliber that we’re used to with her and that she is used to. So, she is not going to perform on the show,” Glenn said.

Now, Variety is reporting that Gaga WILL be in attendance and making a surprise appearance!
