'21 Jump Street' Directors React to Kanye West Saying He Likes 'Jewish People Again' After Watching Movie

Kanye West has returned to Instagram.

The 45-year-old rapper has been off of the social media app for the past several months after facing severe backlash for his anti-Semitic comments.

On Friday night (March 24), Kanye returned to Instagram to say that he likes “Jewish people again” after watching Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum‘s 2012 movie 21 Jump Street.

“Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again,” Kanye wrote. “No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”

“No Christian can be labeled antisemite knowing Jesus is Jew,” Kanye added. “Thank you Jonah Hill I love you.”

If you didn’t know, Jonah, 39, is Jewish.

While Jonah hasn’t publicly reacted to Kanye‘s post yet, the directors of 21 Jump Street, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, both responded.

“Um… thanks for watching?” Chris tweeted, while Phil tweeted, “Laughter is the best medicine.”

Back in January, it was revealed that Kanye could be banned from this country due to his anti-Semitic comments.
