Michael Fassbender Stars in Taika Waititi's 'Next Goal Wins' - Watch Trailer Now!

Michael Fassbender stars in the upcoming comedy-drama film which is based on a true story, Next Goal Wins.

The film is directed by Academy Award Winner Taika Waititi who also directed Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok.

Next Goal Wins follows the American Samoa soccer team, infamous for their 31-0 FIFA loss in 2001, and their unorthodox coach.

Next Goal Wins is based on producers Mike Brett and Steve Jamison’s 2014 documentary of the same name.

Elizabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale)and Will Arnett (Arrested Development) also star in the film for soccer fans. Taika Waititi appears in the film as an American Samoan Priest.

Next Goal Wins is set to be released on November 17th.
