Prince Harry & Meghan Markle End Deal With Spotify After 'Archetypes' Podcast Didn't Get Renewed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving on from Spotify.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly decided not to continue their deal with the streaming platform, which housed Meghan‘s Archetypes podcast.

News of the change comes following a report that Archetypes was not being renewed for a second season.

However, it appears that there are hopes for the project to reappear elsewhere.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report that Archetypes was not coming back to the platform for a second season.

Shortly thereafter, Deadline noted that Prince Harry and Meghan had reportedly cut off their deal with Spotify, which netted them an alleged $20 million payday.

The outlet continued, adding that the pair “are rethinking their deals to find better homes and partnerships for content” and hinting that the podcast might move to a new home in the future.
