The Eagles Prepare for 'The Long Goodbye' Farewell Tour - See Dates & Details

The Eagles are gearing up to close a chapter in their career.

On Thursday (July 6), the legendary group responsible for hits such as “Hotel California” and “Take It Easy” announced plans to embark upon The Long Goodbye – their farewell tour.

The show will begin later this year and is expected to run through 2025 with promises to see as many fans as possible while the demand lasts.

Because of that, only the first set of dates have been unveiled thus far.

“Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed. But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle,” the group said in a statement. “But, we hope to see as many of you as we can, before we finish up. Most importantly, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on.”

The group announced that the tour might involve multiple stops in the same cities to meet fan demand.

As it stands, the show will kick off on September 7 in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Tickets will be available for presale and VIP buyers on July 12 with the general onsale following July 14 at 10am local time.

Steely Dan will also be supporting the group!
