Uzo Aduba Shares Sneak Peek Inside Intimate Baby Shower with Husband Robert Sweeting

Uzo Aduba is getting ready for the birth of her first child!

On Thursday (August 10), the 42-year-old Orange is the New Black star took to Instagram to share a sneak peek inside her intimate baby shower with husband Robert Sweeting.

“Our Baby Shower :) It was such an amazing feeling to have our families host a baby shower for us, and to spend great time with our loved ones. Robert and I get more and more excited with everyday,” Uzo wrote.

“To our friends and family- thank you for sharing in this journey with us and for making sure this baby knows just how loved they already are,” Uzo added. “We had a good good time!”

In one photo, Robert rests his hand on Uzo‘s baby bump as they cut into their cake while in another, he cradles her bump as she sits in a chair.

Uzo also clarified that her pink dress does not mean she’s having a baby girl, writing, “p.s. this dress choice is hinting at nothing. I honestly just liked the color.”

Uzo announced in September 2021 that she and Robert very quietly tied the knot one year earlier. She then announced that they were expecting their first child while attending the 2023 Tony Awards this past June.
