Drew Barrymore Rep Speaks Out After Audience Members Ejected for WGA Pins

Drew Barrymore is speaking out.

The 48-year-old The Drew Barrymore Show host was reportedly unaware that two fans in attendance at Monday’s (September 11) taping were removed for wearing WGA pins amid the Hollywood strikes demanding fair wages and better working conditions.

The removal of audience members Dominic Turiczek and Cassidy Carter was blamed on “heightened security concerns,” via The Wrap.

“It is our policy to welcome everyone to our show tapings,” a spokesperson for the show told the outlet.

“Due to heightened security concerns today, we regret that two audience members were not permitted to attend or were not allowed access. Drew was completely unaware of the incident and we are in the process of reaching out to the affected audience members to offer them new tickets.”
