Laura Linney Responds to Viral Video of Man Being Assaulted By Autograph Seeker

Laura Linney is speaking out for the first time about that viral video showing a man, who seemed to be accompanying her, being assaulted by an autograph seeker.

The 59-year-old Ozark star was waiting outside of the Christian Siriano Fashion Show on Friday (September 8) with the man. They appeared to be waiting for a car.

An autograph seeker then approached and aggressively tried to get Laura to sign something for him. The man standing with Laura then put his arm out in front of the man and told him to get back.

In the background, the man can be heard saying, “Don’t f–king touch me,” and the man with Laura responded that he “didn’t touch” him.

The autograph-seeker then started to walk away in frustration before aggressively pushing the man’s head forward. Everyone surrounding Laura, including Laura herself, seemed stunned. In the video, Laura made sure to check in with the man and see if he was injured at all.

Now, Laura was asked about the incident.

“You know, it was an unfortunate thing that happened, and I’m just glad that no one was severely hurt,” Laura told People. You can watch the video on TikTok.
