Julie Chen Moonves Reveals She Tried to Get Plastic Surgery in Secret & It Didn't Work

Julie Chen Moonves is opening up about her experience getting plastic surgery.

The 53-year-old news anchor explained to E! that she thought she could undergo the procedure without anyone knowing, but that didn’t exactly work out.

“I leave The Talk, I have a lot more free time on my hands, I’m only doing Big Brother,” Julie said. “And I decide before I turn 50, I wouldn’t mind getting some preventive work done. A rejuvenation also known as a face lift. I do live in Beverly Hills and, you know, gravity usually wins. Can’t fight that.”

The Big Brother host continued, “I had this lower facelift done. And I had an allergic reaction to this ointment, so I had to go to the hospital. I don’t care, I have bandages on—unrecognizable. No one is gonna know it’s me. So I go to the hospital to go get this reaction checked out, and I’m thinking, ‘I can deny that this is me. Who is going to know?’”

People figured out her identity because of her handbag with the telling monogram, JCM. “So, there was no denying that that was me,” Julie said.

The TV personality is feeling vulnerable these days. She recently revealed why she actually left The Talk…and it has to do with two former cohosts.
