Taylor Swift had her biggest year yet in 2014 with the release of her new album 1989 and she decided to make it an even better year by including her fans along every step of the way.

Whether you are a fan of her music or not, there is no denying that Taylor has undoubtedly earned the title of being the celebrity that is the best to his/her fans.

From inviting hundreds of fans into her homes around the world for exclusive listening parties to sending fans packages full of amazing holiday gifts, Taylor formed a relationship with her supporters that is very rare in Hollywood these days.

When Taylor hosted her 1989 Secret Sessions

While getting ready for the release of her album 1989, Taylor invited 89 fans from each location (New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, Rhode Island, and London) to join her at her home and listen to her entire new album before it was released. She baked cookies for them, posed for Polaroid pictures, and even let them play with her cats and hold her awards. Read more now!

When Taylor invited her fans to be in her “Shake It Off” video

The video for “Shake It Off” was released during a super hyped up live stream event back in August, but the video was shot months in advance. Taylor called up a bunch of fans to dance with her in the video and they all had to keep it a secret until the video was released. Watch it now!

When Taylor left amazing comments on her fans’ Instagram photos

Taylor cemented her relationship with her fans even more this year by interacting with them more than ever on social media. She made it known that she lurks around her fans’ photos and she has left tons of comments to help inspire them and give them positive feedback.

When Taylor joined Tumblr and start reblogging her fans

Commenting on Instagram photos was just the start of Taylor‘s new life as a social media queen. With the help of her fans, she started a Tumblr account and instantly started spending hours upon hours interacting with fans, reblogging them, and learning tons about them. Her fans went crazy when she joined the “no its becky” inside joke by wearing a shirt with the phrase.

When Taylor flew a superfan to New York to attend her birthday show

When we told you Taylor loves her fans on Tumblr, we meant it. After one fan posted a video of himself lipsyncing to bits and pieces of the 1989 album, Taylor reblogged the video and said she needs to meet him. She ended up flying the fan and his family to New York City to attend the Jingle Ball concert, which happened on her birthday this year. He of course got to go backstage and pose for lots of photos with his favorite singer!

When Taylor gave a fan $90 to eat at Chipotle

Back in July, Taylor was in Central Park getting interviewed for a magazine article when a fan on a row boat spotted her and paddled over to meet her favorite star. Taylor helped the fan out of the boat so they could take a picture and when the fan said she and her pals were going to Chipotle later, the singer took $90 out of her wallet to pay for their meal.

When Taylor flew to Ohio to attend her fan’s bridal shower

Taylor knows who her best fans are and when her superfan Gena sent her an invitation to her wedding, she decided to attend the bridal shower instead because she already had an obligation the day of the wedding. Taylor flew to Ohio with a bunch of gifts and surprised everyone in attendance. Their relationship continued over the year and Taylor invited Gena to New York City to present the Billboard Women of the Year award to her earlier this month. So sweet!

When Taylor showed up at a fan’s house in Connecticut with gifts

Taylor was in a very, very, very giving mood this holiday season and sent a ton of her fans holiday gifts (more on that in a bit), but when she bought some big presents for a fan in Connecticut, she decided to drop them off at the fan’s house instead of shipping them. Taylor connected with her fan Stephanie Barnett on social media years ago while the fan had trouble getting pregnant. Now, she has a two-year-old son. One of the gifts was a toddler sized Mercedes cart that Taylor said was too big to ship, so she decided to bring it in person. Amazing!

When Taylor popped into a Starbucks and took pics with every person

Taylor‘s fan wasn’t the only person in Connecticut that got a surprise visit from the star that day… she also got all the people at a local Starbucks super excited! When she popped into the coffee shop for a pick-me-up, the people inside of course freaked out and she happily posed for photos with all of them, including the baristas!

When Taylor sent a bunch of fans large packages of Christmas gifts

As mentioned before, Taylor interacted with a bunch of her fans on Tumblr this year and really got to know a bunch of them. Because she has a lot of new friends in her life, she decided to buy them all holiday gifts and surprised them with packages with gifts that cost thousands of dollars! Read more now!
