Real-Life 'Come From Away' Subjects Join Actors Who Play Them at L.A. Opening!

The powerful and inspiring musical Come From Away just opened in Los Angeles and it is winning over audiences on the west coast!

The show tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers on 9/11 and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Some of the people who are portrayed in the musical attended the opening, including Beverley Bass, who was the first female captain on American Airlines.

Becky Gulsvig, a Broadway veteran from shows like Hairspray and Legally Blonde, is playing Beverley in the musical. Watch her sing “Me and the Sky” right here!

Come From Away is currently playing at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles until January 6. Make sure to see it!
